At Elmwood Baptist Church, we believe that God has given each of us time, talents, and treasures to steward for His glory. As the Lord allows us to minister to the family of God and the lost in our community, we seek to honor Him through each meeting, gathering, and activity.

NurseryList Item 1
Just as we must come as a child with no deeds of our own and accept the free gift of Christ’s salvation for our wickedness and sin, so we must care for and nurture our little ones in salvation and discipleship.
To ensure that the services are disruption-free, we offer three beautiful nursery facilities. Newborns through age 4 years have dedicated care workers who will carefully watch over their every need. Our ushers will gladly show you to the Nursery.
Elmwood Baptist Church has well-staffed, loving nurseries, beautifully decorated and supplied for your children. Parents may enjoy the services, knowing their children are being well cared for.

Children's MinistryList Item 2
Children’s church includes puppets, Bible stories, inspiring music, Bible drills, and a treasure box that can be dipped into by the winners of the Bible drills, first-time visitors, and birthday kids. There is a Bible Class for all ages on Sunday morning specially prepared for toddlers up to adults.
Master Club
As part of our teaching of children, we incorporate Master Club on Thursday nights at 7 pm. Master Club is a comprehensive Baptist-based children’s ministry using the King James Bible as the source for Bible memory and application programs to teach your children how to serve the Lord.
Master Club is headed up by Mr. Ken Gebhart. Classes include Beginners Club (K4 – K5), Primaries Club (1st – 3rd grade), and Ambassadors Club (4th – 6th grade). All boys and girls are welcome.

Teen MinistryList Item 3
Of all the times to receive knowledge and instructions in the way of God, the teenage years are among the most important. As the world continues to develop the complexity of its charms to dissuade youths from wisdom and doeth the path of a fool, Elmwood Baptist works to lovingly instruct teens in God’s absolute truth, the Bible.
Our youth (6th-8th grades) and teenagers (9th-12th grades) meet during Sunday Family Bible Time at 10:45 am for Sunday school after the Sunday morning worship service and also Thursday Youth & Teen Time at 7:00 pm at the same time as the regular Thursday service.

Church must meet for more than just Sunday or midweek services.At Elmwood Baptist Church, we have many different fellowships that function to create a close-nit family environment. You are not just a person at Elmwood, but part of the family!

Brookdale Senior Living Ministry
Every Sunday @ 1PM, Elmwood hosts a worship service for the seniors at Brookdale Brighton, an assisted living home. This ministry is overseen by Brandon Bowser and his wife, Meghan. Various members are able to serve our Savior by joining Brandon and Meghan and use their talents during the music portion of the service.

G.A.T.E. Outreach Ministry
G.A.T.E. (Gospel Awareness to Everyone)
An outreach ministry of Elmwood in which every member, young and old, has the ability to be involved and get the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every house in our ministry area.
As part of the great commission to make disciples of all nations we meet every Saturday at 10:30 am to go out and share Christ with the community and invite our neighbors in Brighton, Colorado to visit our Church. While many churches have an outreach ministry, few have developed such an in depth ministry. The following is a brief synopsis of this ministry. By putting the information on our website, our prayer is other churches can glean from this information and develop a well-rounded outreach ministry for their community as well.

Missions
Elmwood Baptist Church supports over 40 missionary Church Planters and their families within the United States and around the globe. We believe God’s Word teaches that we are to reach our Jerusalem (for us that is Brighton, CO), Judea (for us that is Colorado), Samaria (for us that is the United States), and the uttermost parts of the earth.
Following the great commission to spread the gospel, calling all men to Christ, baptizing them, and making disciples to the duty of every born-again believer. As part of our answer to this call, Elmwood supports the following churches and ministries through prayer and financial means.

Biblically Based Program Infused with Godly Character
Our purpose in providing a solid biblical education goes beyond simply helping students learn the academics required to enter college or get a good job. We desire to build in students a life-long burning passion to learn and grow spiritually. It is one thing to want children to be successful and quite another to provide the academic and character training to ensure this accomplishment.
