Senior Pastor
Pastor and Betty came to us in September of 2000 after accepting the unanimous call of the 17 remaining members of Elmwood Baptist Church. The church had fallen on extremely hard times, and with nearly a quarter million dollars of debt was facing foreclosure within 8 months of Pastor Randall's arrival.
Many miracles have taken place in the last 7 years as the Lord has blessed the faith of the people of EBC as they rolled up their sleeves and began the work of reaching the lost for Christ, baptizing them on their professions of Faith in Christ and then teaching and grounding them through a Christ Centered Biblical Ministry.
With the debt completely gone, EBC has moved steadily forward in establishing several ministries specifically designed for various age groups, with the goal being to reach souls for Christ, and teaching them to reach others!
Today hundreds of people flock into the weekly services of EBC, and decisions for Christ are made every week!
Pastor & Betty have been married for 36 years, and have 27 years of ministry together, and their vision for EBC's future is just as sure and strong as the day God led them here.
When asked "How did Elmwood turn around?", Pastor always says "There are 3 things God always blesses...Preaching, Praying, Witnessing...it is Biblically guaranteed to bring success"
Pastor's life verse is I Corinthians 10:13 "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Pastor Chris & Lori Knutsen
Assistant Pastor
Music Director / Out-Reach Evangelism
Pastor Chris & Lori Knutsen joined the Staff at Elmwood Baptist Church in December 2000 and is in charge of the music ministries / Out-Reach Evangelism and the "Home Builders" Adult Bible Class.
The Knutsen’s have been used of the Lord in building and directing Church Music Ministries for more than 25 years, the last several years at Florence Baptist Church in Florence Montana, where they lead a very Christ centered and dynamic Music and Youth Ministry.
The Knutsen's have been blessed with 3 children; Amber, Kim and CJ. On June 8, 2000, the Knutsen's oldest daughter, Amber, was tragically killed in a triple fatality automobile accident. At her funeral at least 15 people were saved. The Lord has continued to use her to reach others for His glory. You can read her testimony on Amber’s tribute page.

Pastor Josh & Melissa Lehman
Assistant Pastor
EBA Principal / Children's Ministries / Business Manager
Pastor Josh & Melissa Lehman joined our staff in 2007. They are in charge of all the Children's ministries of EBC, and Pastor Lehman is our EBA Principal and EBC Business Manager.
Prior to coming on full time staff at EBC, Pastor Josh worked for the Colorado Dept. of Revenue, while Melissa taught K4 classes at EBA.
Both have been very active at EBC in the ministries of Children's Church, Master Club and Elmwood Baptist Academy. They have been blessed with 3 beautiful children; Skyler, Makynza and Ayden.
Pastor Ryan & Emily Fox
Assistant Pastor
Youth / Bus Ministries
Prior to moving to Brighton and coming on staff at EBC in 2007, Pastor Ryan & Emily served the Lord for 5 years in the Youth and Bus Ministries at the Greeley Bible Baptist Church in Greeley, CO.
They have a genuine, loving heart for young people, and are a great addition to EBC as they over-see the growing Youth and Bus Ministries.
The Lord has blessed them with 3 beautiful children; Cipriana, Silas and Jayce.
Pastor Mark & Richelle Alber
Assistant Pastor
Spanish Ministries
Pastor Mark & Richelle Alber joined our staff in 2007, and are in charge of the "Spanish Ministry" of Elmwood Baptist Church.
Prior to coming to EBC Pastor Mark served several years as a Missionary Church Planter in Guatemala.
Upon returning to America the Albers served at Adam's City Baptist Church as an Assistant Pastor, and Evergreen Baptist Church as an Interim Pastor.
The Albers have a heart for reaching the Spanish Community for Christ, and share the vision of Pastor Randall to have an Spanish Independent Baptist Church established in the Brighton / Commerce City area of Colorado. The Lord has blessed them with 2 beautiful children; Brenton and Landon.
