1. ELMWOOD BAPTIST ACADEMY was founded in 1973 and has been providing "Excellence in Education" for 35 years.

1. For the 2008-2009 School Year we anticipate 150 student to be enrolled from Pre-K through 12th Grade.

1. Every EBA Teacher is thoroughly trained and certified in the ABeka and A.C.E. systems of Education. These educational have been in existance for nearly 40 years, and is an advanced system of Teaching which focus' on each student's educational needs according to their personal academic ability, and NOT as "one in a group"

1. Every Staff member has passed a complete background investigation before coming to EBA.

1. Every Staff member is a member of Elmwood Baptist Church and are born-again Christians.

1. We use ABeka "Early Development Curriculum" for students 2 & 3 years of age. "This is Education ... NOT Daycare"

1. Every Student in K4 / Kindergarten / 1st through 2nd Grade are taught using “ABeka Curriculum with Phonics" to insure superior reading skills. "Most EBA students are good readers by the time they reach Kindergarten."

1. Students from 4th through 12th Grade use “School of Tomorrow / A.C.E. Curriculum” which ensures that each student will progress through and Master every subject at their own individual academic ability and pace ... "EBA does not believe in the 'Herd mentality' of Education - Every Student is an individual and learns differently, and at a different pace."

1. New Students are diagnostically tested in every subject area and placed at the exact point of their individual academic ability in each subject. "Age and grade or not the critiria for academic placement ... understanding and mastery of the subject matter is what true education is all about.

3. Love of God and Country ... "We are not ashamed of the BIBLE ... the 10 Commandments, the American Flag or the Pledge of Allegence."
